(Brownsville, Texas)-At Boggus Stadium, the Brownsville Veterans Memorial Chargers (7-2, 5-0) outgunned Harlingen South (6-3, 4-1) 42-0 to clinch a share of the District 16-5A Division I title on Friday night. With the win, the Chargers will close out its season next week against Brownsville Lopez on Thursday night while the Hawks will play at Donna (6-3, 3-2). “I’m extremely proud of our team and looking forward to our next games. We feel like we are starting to peak on all 3 facets of the game,” says the Chargers first-year head coach, JC Ramirez.
