(Lyford, Texas)-On Thursday night, the Lyford Bulldogs (5-0) picked up its fifth win of the season by knocking off Bishop (2-4) 27-7 as they head into District 16-3A DI next week against Falfurrias (3-2) at home. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. “Defensively, we played lights out,” said Bulldog head football coach, Jerry Jauregui. “All glory to God first, our staff and players.”

The Bulldogs will take on the Jerseys that will feature senior running back, Rene Martinez who has rushed for 1,005 yards on 88 carries.
