On Thursday night, the Santa Rosa Warriors picked up its third win of the season, but most importantly, it’s district opener win in 16-3A Division II over George West (0-4, 0-1) 27-14. “It was a tough battle,” says Warriors head coach, Joe Marichalar. “George West is a very good football team and we battled to the end.” The Warriors will travel to play Odem (1-2) next Friday night in another District 16-3A Division II contest.
