(La Joya, Texas)-On Thursday night, the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (3-2, 1-1) came out running as they defeated La Joya Palmview (2-3, 0-2) at PACK Stadium 24-7. The Mustangs will play McAllen Nikki Rowe on October 6th while the Lobos will travel to play PSJA North on October 5th. The Mustangs took a quick 10-0 lead and led throughout the game with their running attack and aggressive defense. The Mustangs rushed for 245 yards and held the Lobos to under 200 yards in total offense. “Kids played well, believing in themselves, working on correcting some things from last week.
