(Brownsville, Texas)-On Thursday night, the Brownsville Veterans Memorial Chargers proved to be too much for PSJA Bears as they won 59-14 in non-district action. With the win, the Chargers improves to 3-1 overall while the Bears drops to 1-4. The Chargers will open District 16-5A Division I next Friday against the Donna Redskins (5-0, 1-0) while the Bears will take a week off before playing Edinburg Economedes (1-4) in District 31-6A.
