(Arlington, Texas)-The District 7-4A DII runner-up, Gilmer Buckeyes (13-3) won its fourth state title in Class 4A DII by defeating District 10-4A DII Champions, Bellville 28-26 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The Buckeyes went for it on fourth down late in the fourth quarter to get the first down on 4th and six inside Bellville’s 20-yard line, to take a knee and watch the clock tick down to seal their victory.
