(Pharr, Texas)-The State 5A Division I 7th ranked team, PSJA North (6-0, 3-0) defeated La Joya Palmview (2-4, 0-3) 55-0 on Thursday night as they recorded their fifth shutout of the season. “Our team did a great job playing in the elements,” said Raiders head coach, Marcus Kaufmann. The Raiders will now play at McAllen Nikki Rowe (3-3, 2-1) this Friday night at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium while the Lobos will host Rio Grande City at PACK Stadium in La Joya. Head football coach Marcus Kaufmann has led his Raiders this season with only one thing in mind, and that is to make it to the state championships. “That’s our goal and it’s possible too,” adds Kaufmann.
