(Brownsville, Texas)-At Sams Stadium, the San Benito Greyhounds (2-0) came into town with only one thing in mind, get win number two as they defeated Brownsville Pace (0-2) 57-0 in non-district action. The Greyhounds put up 28-points in the first quarter on miscues by the Vikings and ended the night with 346 total yards and holding the Pace Vikings to 79-total yards. The Vikings were forced to three fumbles and one interception on Thursday night. Greyhound QB Aaron Corona put San Benito up on a 28-yard touchdown pass to make it 7-0 on their opening drive. After a Pace fumble at their own 25-yard line, the Greyhounds went on to put up two more scores to make it 21-0. Pace, trying to get back on track, an interception by Greyhounds SS Brandon Hernandez led to another touchdown by RB Atticus De Leon from 5-yards to make it 28-0.
