(Brownsville, Tx)-The Brownsville Pace Vikings will kickoff their season against the Sharyland Rattlers on the road Friday night at 7:00 p.m. on August 25th. With only 23 lettermen returning and three starters on offense. The Vikings will rely on their six defensive starters to carry them throughout the season. “We will be young on offense but our defense will be the key with our experience,” says Pace head coach, Daniel Pardo.
In district play, the Vikings will travel to Donna North on September 22nd followed by a home game at Harlingen South on September 29th. Players to watch are DB Gael Perez (6’1 165lbs), LB Juan Guerrero (5’8 170lbs), sophomore QB Issac Solis (5’10 165lbs), RB Valiant Rodriguez (5’8 170lbs), OL Kaleb Loredo (6’0 265lbs), OL Rey Lerma (5’9 230lbs).
