(Santa Rosa, Texas)-Head coach Joe Marichalar watched his team fall in the Class 3A DII Bi-District Championships to Nixon Smiley 20-14 with seconds left to play in the game. “We were inside the five-yard line and could not score,” says Marichalar. 

   The Warriors will be missing Art Sauceda, who was killed this past summer. He was pegged to be the starting offensive tackle. “He will be missed,” says Marichalar.
