(Brownsville, Texas)-It was a battle. It was Sweet! Forget about the twelve yellow cards that were flashed as the Sharyland Rattlers won 1-0 over the Brownsville Porter Cowboys in the Class 5A Region IV quarterfinals on Friday night at the Brownsville Sports Park.
Porter fans erupted with cheers when the Cowboys scored in the second half but officials ruled that the Cowboys were offsides. No goal, Sharyland held on to win 1-0.
The 31-5A Rattlers (17-4-2) will play 28-5A San Antonio Southwest (24-1) in the regional semifinals next week at the Brownsville Sports Park at 4:00 p.m. (HSSMImages)
