(Edcouch, Texas)-The Brownsville Porter Cowboys (21-2-2) defeated La Joya Palmview 2-0 on Friday night at Benny Layton Sr Memorial Stadium in Edcouch and will advance to the University Interscholastic League 5A Region IV Semifinals this Friday at Cabaniss Field in Corpus Christi. The Cowboys will play Georgetown or Alamo Heights at 12:00 noon.
