(McAllen, Texas)-Friday night was filled with plenty of postponed games throughout the Rio Grande Valley due to frigid temperatures but at Pioneer High School, visiting team, McAllen Memorial Lady Mustangs (16-13, 4-4) looked like as if though they were in playoff mode by defeating Sharyland Pioneer (13-15, 5-3) 51-27 to remain in fourth place in District 31-5A. With the loss, the Lady Diamondbacks are 5-3, holding on to third place. With only six district games remaining, the Lady Mustangs and head coach Clarissa Arredondo will face Sharyland and McAllen as the teams to beat in order to move up in the standings.
