(Pharr, Texas)-Another midnight finish as the PSJA North Raiders (6-1, 4-1) defeated PSJA (3-4, 2-3) 49-23 on Friday night at PSJA Stadium. Kickoff did not begin until 9:30 p.m. as it drizzled throughout most of the night. “It’s the thunder and lightning strikes that delays games like this,” says Raiders head coach, Marcus Kaufmann. Raiders running back Jack Lugo found a wide open hole to score on a 72-yard touchdown run while RB Issac Gonzalez added two scores of his own to lead the Raiders past the Bears.
