(Beeville, Texas)-The last time the San Benito Lady Greyhounds (37-5) made a trip to the University Interscholastic League 6A Softball Region IV Finals was in 2015 and now, the 32-6A Lady Greyhounds will take on 27-6A San Antonio East Central Lady Hornets (25-14) this weekend in the Best-of-Three series.
Lady Greyhounds head coach, Elias Martinez (603 career wins) will lead his team to the “Elite Eight” for the third time in his career after knocking off 27-6A champion, New Braunfels in three games at Cabaniss Field in Corpus Christi, Texas last week.
