(San Antonio, Texas)-At the Alamodome, Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy Eagles (35-4) defeated Silsbee (32-7) in the University Interscholastic League’s Class 4A semifinals 70-62. They will now meet the winner of Boerne or Wichita Falls Hirschi in the championship game on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
In more semifinal action, Lipan (39-0) stayed undefeated with their 58-4 win over Mumford HS in Class 2A while defending champions, San Antonio Cole will be headed back to the Class 3A finals after knocking off Hitchcock 53-49. Cole will play Dallas Madison on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Finally, defending champs, Beaumont United will be headed back to the 5A Championship game after defeating Dallas Kimball 66-64 and will play Mansfield Timberview on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. On Friday, TJ Caldwell (6’4) scored 18 points and JT Toppin (6’7) added 15 points to lead Oak Cliff.
