(Harlingen, Texas)-At Harlingen High School Cardinal Gym, the 32-6A Co-Champions, Harlingen Cardinals (32-6) knocked off Mission (12-25) in the UIL State 6A Boys Basketball Bi-District Championships on Tuesday 66-47. With the win, the Cardinals will meet 29-6A runner-up, San Antonio Harlan (22-11) this weekend in the area playoffs. “It was a tough game. Mission came out to play tonight. They had us down by two points at the end of the first quarter,” said Cardinals head coach Clayton Cretors. “We had to make adjustments.” The Cards held the Eagles to five points in the second quarter while they scored 18 points to end the half leading 29-18.
