(San Benito, Texas)-The San Benito Greyhounds (10-1) are headed to the UIL State 6A Division I Area Championships after defeating Edinburg North (5-6) 42-10 on Thursday night. The Greyhounds will now meet the winner between Laredo United or SA Taft in the second round next week. “Our kids came out and responded well tonight. I’m very proud of our team,” said Greyhounds head football coach, Dan Gomez.
