(McAllen, Texas)-Make that three straight wins for the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (5-2, 2-1) as they defeated La Joya Juarez-Lincoln 49-21 on Thursday night at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Mustangs will now travel to PSJA Stadium next Friday to play undefeated PSJA North (6-0, 3-0) in a key District 15-5A DI matchup while the Huskies (0-7, 0-3) will meet Edinburg Vela.
Mustang sophomore, QB Kane Coy and RB Sebastian Aleman led their team with five combined touchdowns.
