(McAllen, Texas)-The San Benito HS Greyhounds (3-0) defeated McAllen Memorial (2-1) at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium on Friday night 33-13. The Greyhounds will now play host to Mission Veterans (1-2) next Friday night in non-conference action while the Mustangs will open District 15-5A Division I against 5A DI state-ranked No.14 Edinburg Vela (3-0) on Friday night at home.
On Friday night, Greyhounds running back Fabian Garcia rushed for 214 yards and four touchdowns and RB Aaron Garza added 87 yards on the ground to keep the Greyhounds perfect for the season.
