(Roma, Texas)-Roma HS running back Issac Lozano rushed for 160 yards on 22 carries and scored two touchdowns as the Gladiators (3-0) knocked off rivals, Grulla Gators (2-1) 41-7 in non-conference action. Roma Gladiator QB David Galan ended the night with a beautiful 62-yard touchdown run up the middle, untouched. It was his second touchdown of the night. He finished the night with 110 yards rushing. The Roma defense forced two fumbles and held the Gators to 259 total yards while the Gladiators had nearly 400 yards on offense with 360 yards rushing.
Roma will travel to play Zapata next Friday night at 7:30 p.m. while the Gators will host Brownsville Lopez (1-2). (HSSMImages/Ruiz)
