(Pharr, Texas)-The PSJA Memorial Wolverines (1-0) defeated La Joya Juarez-Lincoln (0-1) on Thursday night winning 48-20 at PSJA Stadium. “It feels great to win our first game of the season,” said PSJA Memorial HS head football coach, Will Littleton. “We just need to get better on defense.” The Wolverines rushed 38 times for 388 yards and six touchdowns. They also had 37-yards passing to end the night. Wolverines junior quarterback (6’2 185lbs) Ryan Reyna had a big night rushing eleven times for 105-yards with two scores while RB Emiliano Cortazar added another 116 yards on 10 carries with two more scores.
