Class 6A Baseball Playoffs: PSJA, Los Fresnos, Weslaco Headed to Area Playoffs…

(Pharr,Texas)- The 31-6A PSJA Bears (22-5) defeated 32-6A San Benito 7-2, 4-3 in the Class 6A Bi-District Championships to advance to play 30-6A Laredo Alexander (16-10) in the area playoffs. In the Upper bracket, the 32-6A Los Fresnos Falcons (27-6-1) will meet 30-6A Laredo United (13-17). The winner will play PSJA or Alexander in the regional quarterfinals. In more games, the 32-6A Weslaco Panthers (21-10) blanked Edinburg North 4-0 and will now play 29-6A San Antonio O’Connor (20-9-2) on Thursday at home at 6:30 p.m. with Games Two and Three at Northside Complex in San Antonio beginning at 2:00 p.m. (HSSMImages/Ruiz)
