(Corpus Christi, Texas)-For the third season in a row, the Edinburg Vela (10-2) Sabercats falls in the Class 5A DI Area Championships, this time to 14-5A DI Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial 14-7 at Buccaneers Stadium on Friday night. With the win, Veterans will travel to play McAllen HS on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Site will be McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium.
