UIL State 5A Track and Field Championships-Heroes Stadium
(San Antonio, Texas)-Ayden Granados from McAllen Memorial HS celebrated his win in the 3200m run at Heroes Stadium with a time of 9:12.47 this morning by yelling his way past the finished line to captured the 5A Region IV UIL Track and Field title. Right behind the junior long distant runner was Donna HS senior Kevin Hernandez to take the runner up spot. Both will be headed to the UIL State 5A Track and Field Championships in Austin, Texas May 12-14th at Mike Myers Stadium. (HSSMImages/Ruiz)
