(Corpus Christi, Texas)-For a moment, the 31-5A McAllen High School Lady Bulldogs shed some light, trailing 2-1 against 26-5A Boerne Champion (18-3-4) but the Lady Bulldogs (20-8-2) were given an opportunity on a penalty shot by senior Malory Henderson. She had no problem, sending her bonus shot past the goalie to make it 3-2 late in the second half. The Lady Mustangs scored late to take the 4-2 win and advance to the 5A Regional Girls Soccer Championships against rivals, defending 5A Champs, Dripping Springs (25-0).
