(Mission, Texas)_ At Richard Thompson Stadium on Thursday night, the Valley View Tigers (0-3, 0-1) turned over the ball twice in their first possessions, to give the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (1-2, 1-0) an early lead as they never looked back, winning 59-14. The win puts the Patriots back on track for a playoff run as they will travel to meet Roma (2-1, 1-0) next Friday.

The Patriots scored 19 points in the first quarter on miscues by the Tigers and led 45-7 at the half. Head coach Dave Gilpin pulled most of his starters in the second half. The Tigers would score one more time. In three games, the Tigers have been outscored 134-21. They will travel to play Mercedes next Friday.
