(Pharr, Texas)-The PSJA North Raiders made it to the UIL State 6A DI Area finals in 2018 and 2020 and they will be the team to watch in 2021 in District 31-6A. Now in his sixth season, head coach Marcus Kaufmann says, “Experience will be the key for our team. We will play hard nose football. Last year, we had to forfeit our area playoff game against SA Taft because of COVID-19. It was horrible. Now, its about unfinished business.”
At quarterback, Ale Aparicio returns as a sophomore and he will be joined by senior captain, Jack Lugo (6’2 195lbs) and senior RB Issac Gonzalez (3,657 yards yards 35 TDs). Look for the Raiders to contend for the 31-6A title, along with Edinburg Vela High School.
