(San Antonio, Texas)-Humble Summer Creek (30-11) head coach Kiara Marshall called timeout as they were down by 12 points in the fourth quarter and told her team, repeatedly, “you have to believe” and that they did as the Lady Bulldogs captured their first UIL State 6A Division I championship title on Saturday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Kennedy Simpson led the Lady Bulldogs with 21 points, four assists, four steals, and was named the UIL MVP.
