(San Antonio, Texas)-The District 15-5A DI Flour Bluff Hornets (11-1) are headed to the third round of the University Interscholastic League State 5A DI Regional Finals by upsetting previously unbeaten San Antonio Pieper (11-1) in overtime 57-56. Hornets head coach Clynt Elwood made the call to go for two points and it paid off with UTRGV Commit, QB Jayden Paluseo finding Vanderbuilt commit, WR Cameron Dickson open for the win. The Hornets will now play undefeated San Antonio Southwest Dragons on Thanksgiving weekend. The Dargons defeated 15-5A DI Corpus Christi Veterans 30-20 at Cabannis Field on Friday night.
