With the win, the Bobcats improves to 4-3, 1-1 in District 31-6A. The Coyotes (0-7, 0-2) losing streak continued with 17 straight losses.
The Coyotes had their opportunities throughout the night as they held the Bobcats to 6-0 through the first three quarters. The Bobcats scored twice in the fourth quarter to end the Coyotes hopes of ending their losing streak. The Bobcats finished the night with 260 yards rushing and 148 yards passing. The Bobcats defense had an outstanding night with three quarterback sacks, one interception, along with 32 solo tackles. The Bobcats will play host to Edinburg Economedes (4-3, 1-1) on Friday at Richard R. Flores Stadium in a key 31-6A match up. (HSSMImages)
