(La Villa, Texas)-In 2021, La Villa Cardinals head coach Daniel Perez led his team to the District 16-2A Division I title with a perfect 4-0 record and then the Cardinals did again, capturing the 2A Bi-District Division I title in 2022 by defeating Freer 34-7 before falling to Ganado 60-23 in the area playoffs.
