(Mission, Texas)-The Pats are back! Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (1-0) spoiled Mission High School new head football coach Jody Cantù’s debut winning 28-0 in the annual Battle of Conway on Friday night at Hall of Fame Stadium. 
The Pats have a new “Brady” as sophomore QB Roman Reyna passed for 218 yards and three touchdowns in his season opener. Reyna connected with senior WRs Joey Hernandez and Ben Martinez for 132 total yards. In total, the Pats had 350 total yards on offense.
The Eagles (0-1) will play Weslaco East (0-1) on Thursday night while the Pats will play host to the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. (HSSMIMAGES/Special
