(Arlington, Texas)-With more than 16,267 fans in attendance at AT&T Stadium, the Region II 7-4A DI Celina Bobcats (16-0) captured its ninth University Interscholastic League title in Class 4A Division I by eliminating Kilgore 55-21. Bobcats quarterback Bowe Bentley passed for 265 yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed for 98 yards in their win. Head coach Bill Elliott captured his first title in his first season with the Bobcats. Bentley was named the NIKE MVP on offense. LB Luke Biagini had nine tackles with one interception and one quarterback sack to win the NIKE Defensive MVP award. Bentley has touchdown passes of 34, 60, 20, 50, and 63 yards to lead his team. Bobcats WR Colton Rodriguez had five catches for 149 yards and two scores while WR Ethan Rucker hauled in three passes for 95 yards and two scores.
