(Edinburg, Texas)-On Thursday night at Richard R. Flores Stadium, the Los Fresnos Falcons (4-1) picked up win number four by defeating the Edinburg Bobcats (3-2) 38-14. The Falcons will now play Sharyland (3-2) on Friday night at Leo Aguilar Memorial Stadium while the Bobcats will take the week off and will prepare for their District 31-6A opener against PSJA on Thursday, October 10th at home.

Falcons junior quarterback Robert Pineda rushed 23 times for 110 yards with four touchdowns and he also passed for another 110 yards. He scored on TD runs 1,1, 38, and two yards. RB Tyler Stachowiak had a big night rushing for 105 yards and one score. The Falcons scored first on a 42-yard field goal by kicker Ethan Nolasco. (HSSMImages)
