(Brownsville, Texas)-The San Benito Greyhounds (7-0, 2-0) raided the Brownsville Rivera Raiders (1-5, 0-2) on Thursday night at Sams Memorial Stadium 49-0. The win sets up a pivotal 32-6A showdown next Friday night at Bobby Morrow Stadium with the Harlingen Cardinals (5-2, 1-1) in the “Battle of the Arroyo.”
The Greyhounds defense recorded its second straight shutout in district play by sacking Rivera QB Jesus Hinojosa several times led by Greyhound defender Karmyne Castilleja.
