(Mission, Texas)-The Weslaco Panthers (4-0) rolled on Friday night with a 28-7 win over 16-5A DII Sharyland (2-2) in non-conference action at Richard Thompson Stadium. The 32-6A Panthers will now play host to 30-6A Laredo United South (1-3) on Friday night at Bobby Lackey Stadium in their final non-conference game.
On Friday night, Panther head coach Roy Stroman watched his Panthers defense dominate the two-time district champions, Rattlers as they led 21-0 in the third quarter and never looked back. For the night, the Panthers totaled 369 yards and held the Rattlers to 149 yards on offense. (HSSMImages/Ruiz)
