(La Joya, Texas)-The 30-5A La Joya Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (18-2-3) are pretty darn good. On Friday night, the Huskies dominated the 29-5A Corpus Christi Ray Texans with an impressive 7-1 win in the Class 5A Bi-District Championships. The win puts the Huskies in the second round against the McAllen Bulldogs (17-4-3-), 3-2 winners over 32-5A Donna North. The winner from the area playoffs will play 30-5A Laredo Martin or 32-5A Brownsville Lopez in the regional quarterfinals.
