(Weslaco, Texas)-The 32-6A Weslaco Lady Panthers (30-8) defeated 31-6A Edinburg North (17-16) on Thursday night 50-23 to advance to the are playoffs against 29-6A San Antonio Brennan (29-4) or 30-6A Del Rio (6-19) this weekend. The Lady Panthers ended their season in district play as the runner-ups under head Griselda Fino. The Lady Cougars lost twice to the Lady Panthers during the regular season in non-conference play 72-28 and 47-28.
