(Santa Rosa, Texas)-The 32-3A Santa Rosa Warriors showed its strength as they eliminated 31-3A North IDEA Mission on Monday night 87-53 in the University Interscholastic League 3A Bi-District Championships. Warriors Sergio Mendoza led all scorers with 23 points with teammate Felipe Alaniz adding another 17 points. The Warriors will now play the winner of Odem or San Diego in the area finals this weekend.
The Warriors led 17-15 after the first quarter and made a run in the second quarter, outscoring IDEA 23-12. The third quarter proved to be the same results as the Warriors upped its lead 62-36. (HSSMIMages/DeLeon)
