(Austin, Texas)-For the second time since 2019, the Duncanville High School Girls Basketball program has been slapped again for recruiting violations. Head Girls Basketball Coach LeJeanna Howard was issued a one-year suspension, three years probation, and a public reprimand for violation of UIL Constitution and Contest Rules Section 409, Recruiting; Section 1206(f), School Practice and Game Restrictions; and Section 1230(b)(1)(A), Basketball Plan.

Duncanville High School Athletic Director Dwight Weaver was also given a public reprimand and the Duncanville High School Girls Basketball program was also given three years probation and will be suspended from post-season play for the 2022-23 season for the same violation.

The Lady Panthers has won Eleven UIL state championships with 26 state appearances.

In 2019, former Duncanville High School girls basketball coach Cathy Self-Morgan was found guilty of recruiting violations by a University Interscholastic League committee and handed a three-year suspension from coaching. The Duncanville High School girls basketball program was also issued a two-year probation.
