(La Joya, Texas)-The La Joya Palmview Lobos (3-1, 0-1) lost for the first time this season to McAllen Nikki Rowe 28-14 in District 15-5A Division I on Friday night at PACK Stadium in La Joya. With the win, the Warriors improves to 3-1 for the season and takes 1-0 lead in District 15-5A Division I. Palmview quarterback Christian Reyna had a good night, passing for 130 yards with tight-end Jesus Hinostroza grabbing five passes for 65 yards. But, it was the Warriors defense forcing the Lobos QB to three interceptions. The Warriors will now play La Joya Juarez-Lincoln (0-4) next Friday night at McAllen Veterans Memorial stadium while the Lobos will play on Thursday night against the McAllen Memorial Mustangs (1-3, 0-1). Rowe quarterback Lance Salinas led the Warriors with 74 yards rushing and one touchdown.
