(McAllen, Texas)-The 31-4A Hidalgo Pirates watched their season come to an end with a heart-breaking loss to 25-4A Taylor Ducks (15-5-2) 2-1 in the University Interscholastic League 4A Boys Region IV Semifinals at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium this afternoon.
With less than two minutes left to play, Taylor’s Ezekial Tellez scored the game-winning goal to end the Pirates’ playoff run.
In Game Two of the 4A Region IV Semifinals, the Progreso Red Ants fell to the defending State 4A Soccer Champions, Boerne Greyhounds 8-1. The Red Ants were making its first playoff appearance since 2020 after canceling its season during the COVID-19 pandemic. (HSSMImages/Ruiz)
Aw, this was a really nice post. In concept I wish to put in writing like this moreover – taking time and actual effort to make a very good article… however what can I say… I procrastinate alot and in no way appear to get one thing done.
