(McAllen,Texas)-Interim head football coach Moises Patterson says that he is “ready” to lead the McAllen Memorial High School Mustangs in 2021. Players to watch will be quarterbacks junior JP Cortez and sophomore Derek Silva. Cortez is a passing quarterback while Silva stays under center. Other players to watch are twin brothers, DB Jalen and Jaden Muhammad, OL Thomas Domian, LB Matthew Lopez, and WR Sebastian Cortez. The Mustangs shared the 16-5A DI title with Weslaco East in 2020.
